Rude Ramsay and the Roaring RadishesKey Porter Books approached us to do a show based on Margaret Atwood's book, Rude Ramsay and the Roaring Radishes. We made the puppets to look just like the illustrations by Dusan Petricic
We had a lot of fun creating a rollicking rendition of the story with ridiculously rampant repetition of words that start with "R". ( note: Key Porter ceased operations in 2011 )
The first performance was at Lorraine Kimsa's Theatre for Young People.We used real radishes of course! Really!
Dennis Lee read some poems and Margaret Atwood read Rude Ramsay. Before the puppet show started Margaret Atwood came backstage and tried the Ramsay puppet on.
